THE PLAYERYou are responsible for the overall growth and financial profitability of the hotel through revenue management, cost control, guest satisfaction and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment for team members.
You will ensure the integrity of the hotel assets by managing preventative maintenance programs and inspections of all areas of the property.
EVERY DAY, YOU WILL Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented matterDrive organizational excellence in operations and customer serviceOversee performance measurements to ensure the property operates within approved budgets and is competitive in its respective competitive setProduce monthly financial reports to be presented to Geronimo Hospitality VP of Lodging and COOCreate the hotel's annual budget and monitor the performance of the hotel throughout the yearMaintain positive and efficient work environmentHire, develop and train associates to ensure guest satisfaction and company cultureEnsure the cleanliness and safety of the hotel and its assets through the enforcing and maintaining of preventative maintenance programsMust be able to multi-taskDemonstrate willingness to assist all hotel departments as neededDemonstrate willingness to work with other tenants in the property to ensure an enjoyable experience for guests throughout the physical property, including leased spaces (i.
e.
restaurants)Perform such duties, or assignments, as from time to time may be assigned by the President/CEO, COO, VP of Lodging, Director of Lodging or Management Team of Geronimo Hospitality and Hendricks Commercial Properties.
YOU WILL BE GREAT AT THE DELAFIELD HOTEL IF (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)You have a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration or the equivalent of education and work experienceYou possess a minimum 5 years of hotel experience with minimum of 2 years as a rooms department head or general managerYou have excellent computer skills including Microsoft OfficeYOU ARE A VARSITY PLAYER IF (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)You have a college degreeYou have General Manager experience and new hotel opening experienceYou possess knowledge and experience with Opera PMS and Travelclick/iHotelierPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS You are occasionally required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.
You will frequently be required to stand, and/or walk.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other department of the hotel on a timely basis, including stairs.
You must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds while moving files or small packages.
This position is also subject to irregular hours to include late nights, weekends and holidays.
